Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country musician and singer born in America. Following the release of two singles and an album entitled Satisfied in 2007 she formed an ensemble called Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley as well as Miranda Lambert and released her 2nd album called Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe works as the assistant village manager for Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked in various public positions with five years of experience in the Iowa City Deputy City Manager position. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager includes the management of the Community Development and Building Department coordinating grants and completing special initiatives. At Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also implementing the strategic vision of the elected officials and the community. Ashley's previous roles include administration planning, communications budgeting, and staff management and collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Ashley has the ability to utilize her previous experience of in various communities and national organizations. She has also acquired an understanding of the manner in which public organisations function. Ashley's courses are focused on leadership for public organizations and management as seen from the viewpoint that of an experienced professional. Alongside providing an environment for both current and future practitioners, Ashley emphasizes the importance to adapting the current strategic and ethical decision-making in order to address the challenges ahead and make use of opportunities.
